Laura & Mark McGhee Wedding
To Robert & the gang,
I have thought long and hard at what to write to thank Brass Impact for your perfect performance at our wedding, and I will struggle to emphasise how grateful Laura & I are.
The performance was completely flawless and the feedback from all our wedding guests confirm this, you were truly wonderful and a pleasure to listen to.
Thanks again for making our day so special and I hope that in some way, at some point I will be able to return the favour.
Thanks Robert, you are a cracking guy and we will get that beer at some point!

Marie Curie Cancer Care Grand Daffodil Ball 2010
Once again Brass Impact were superb at the Marie Curie Daffodil Ball, taking our of Puttin' On The Ritz theme and shaping into hours of entertainment and dancing for our guests. They moved seemlessly through the eras; a real crowd pleaser and great to work with! Thanks Robert!

Brass Impact are "THE" perfect wedding band. The Garfield provided an intimate setting for this band and the interaction with our guests and on the dance floor from the vocalists added a real personal touch. You must book this band. Thanks to Robert and the the band for adding to our most magical day.

Trinity Church Concert, Renfrew
Hello Robert, It hardly seems a week ago we were sitting enjoying Brass Impact. Everybody who was there thoroughly enjoyed it. I have now heard feedback, both after church on Sun. and at the session meeting on Mon night. Comments like, "very professional" "they seemed like one big happy family" "they played my favourite song" "the singers were great" "the singers and the band leader certainly knew how to get the audience going". The session would like to invite you back again in 2 years time, if we decide to do another charity concert then. Thank you again for putting on such a great show. Kind regards, Fraser

Rebecca & James Ramsay Wedding
Well Robert what can we say?? Brass Impact could not have been better during the whole process. Leading up to the day you always replied to any enquiry quickly and with useful information, as well as always being very couteous and helpful. I was really looking forward to meeting you by the time the wedding came, and all of the band members were so friendly and professional that I was not disappointed. Now to the music – of course! Well I know that you saw James and I dancing the whole night, and I was so pleased to see that others were up there with us! All of our requests were met (including my five year old cousin drumming and our friend joining you on stage to sing) but I always knew that you had it all in hand and that the music would still sound great. Everyone of all generations is still talking about how brilliant you were, and I just hope that we get to hear you all again soon!
Rebecca & James Ramsay
Dear Robert, What can we say! You were absolutely superb and I cannot tell you how many guests have written to us mentioning what a fabulous band we had ! As well as being superb musicians and singers you were also extremely helpful, courteous and professional - in fact a pleasure to work with. I would be delighted to recommend Brass Impact to anyone so please do not hesitate to contact us if we can sing your praises ! I am sorry it has taken so long to write and thank you but we are just back from Spain where we collapsed in a heap for a week ! Rebecca and James are still away on honeymoon. I will put something on your website too but wanted to write to you personally before I did to thank you for making the day truly special. Thank you again.
We cannot thank you all or sing your praises highly enough for helping to make our daughter's wedding a very special day! What outstanding musicians and singers. You had everyone on the dance floor from age 3 to 83! All our guests have written to us and have commented on our fabulous choice of band. I look forward to hearing you all again soon. You are the perfect band for a wedding!

Dalziel Park Country Club
"Live n Swingin" at Dalziel Park for our end of summer ball was an amazing night, start to finish. The quartet playing throughout the meal was a touch of class, and then when the Big Band came on there were mouths gaping open everywhere at the wonderful sight and sound of Brass Impact.

Callander Jazz & Blues Festival
One of the noteable highlights of this years festival event was without a doubt the dynamic performance from West of Scotland based big band Brass Impact. This band have impact by the bucketful, seldom have I witnessed a band with such a polished and professional approach to a live stage performance. The sheer enthusiasm that emerged particularly from the younger members of the ensemble was simply a joy to behold.

Last night was another classic and the standing ovation at the end said it all. Bobby Christie, sitting next to me - you shook his hand at the end - was knocked out and reckoned you should be called the Brass Impact Showband, so entertaining was all that West Coast banter. The new numbers were terrific and your flugel lead on "Clowns" exceptionally plaintive and tasteful. Ian and Pat get better every time and their new stuff was equally terrific, especially Spiderman, Best Is Yet To Come, Sway and Over the Rainbow. What a night - it really was! I thought Bill Kettles was the best I'd ever heard him, especially in The Age of Aquarius and the band backing in What Kind of Fool was superb.

Susan & Mark McKeown Wedding
Wow what can we say? You guys were amazing! Now that the dust has settled we can finally sit down and pay homage where it is due. We had a fantastic wedding but we genuinely say that you guys where the making of it. Mark initially had some reservations as you know, about how loud the band would come across and his fears about drowning out any possibility of conversations. He was happily proved wrong. The Crutherland Hotel has a good sized ballroom floor and yet I remember seeing people dancing on the carpet as there was no space left on the floor! You were professional but fun and we loved the mix of music. You moved effortlessly from Sinatra swing to Lionel Ritchie to the Beatles. Fantastic fun but I blame you for my sore feet and legs the next day. Mark especially loved his wee shot on the bongos afterwards! The small 4 piece during the meal was also great, perfect volume, great tunes, unobtrusive but really classy. And then the change of outfits!! Loved the dickie bows, and the starry backdrop lent a real magical feel to the event. Pure class.

Just thought that I would drop you a wee note of BIG THANKS for your fabulous entertainment on Saturday night. Great playing and terrific singers...!! It was Susan & Mark's big day and words cannot express my thanks to you and your team for giving such a great entertainment experience. It really was a superb finish to an excellent day.You are all just so professional and deserve all the success that is coming your way. You guys were " the talk of the steamie " and I'm sure that it won't be long before you conquer Ireland as well as the UK..!! Many of the Irish guys are "well connected" and were getting together to figure out which function they could book you for. I really hope that things develop for you over there too. As one of the young girls commented .."big band jazz and a disco ..this is better than sex and chocolate.."..!! Thanks again for a great night.

Everyone I spoke to after the Summer Ball were very impressed with the band, and all made a point of saying how good and professional you all were. Your band had a great sound and hit the right level for the evening. Singers were great (especially your guest singer!) and got involved with the evening well. I would definitely have you back at any event I organise in the future and would recommend you highly. Thanks once again for making the night better than I could have imagined, take care, and regards to all.

Just a note to say thank you to all at Brass Impact for helping make our event such a success. Everyone commented on how good the band were, you really gave us that 'big band' sound we were looking for. Everyone was very professional and friendly ... I would highly recommend the band to anyone, and will personally look forward to using you again in the very near future.

Robert, just wanted to say thanks for a fantastic night on Friday - the band were amazing! We were slightly apprehensive about booking a 'swing' band as we had a very mixed age group and weren't sure if everyone would enjoy this............. but how wrong we were!! You guys were definitely the highlight of the whole event and had everyone up dancing and singing. (Surely the 'slosh' has got to go down in history?!) Please pass on my thanks to the rest of the band for making our event extra special - you blew us away with your professionalism and enthusiasm and I wouldn't hesitate to book you again. Thanks again
