WatchBoston Ministry and Pray New England functioned in the early 2000's. In 2006 the call came to begin a gathering place toward the "south", so Freedom Journey Outpost moved toward Cape Cod, and birthed in Plymouth Massachusetts. FJO was a fun and lively place where the Lord showed up in many wonderful and unexpected ways. Over the years, we gathered, we trained, we worshipped, we traveled our cities and region, and nation connecting, training and encouraging believers wherever we went, from 2012-2021.
FJO brought in many globally known powerful apostolic and prophetic leaders into the region. That certainly helped dispel our reputation as the "Frozen Chosen".
The leader of FJO, Linda is a pioneer, having led many intercessory prayer journeys and breaking open prophetic spiritual & strategic warfare here. Linda became the first of the "prophetic warfare " tribe to allowed into the (mainly evangelical) National Day of Prayer.
At the same time, Linda was the state leader for the then, SWN led that that time, by Chuck Pierce and then Cindy Jacobs. In 2008 Massachusetts was introduced to the Heartland Apostolic Prayer Network and Ap. Joh Benefiel, and by 2009 with her participation, all of the NE states had leaders. Linda was a state and regional leader for the both HAPN and RPN (Reformation Prayer Network), Generals International (Cindy & Mike Jacobs), and regional leadership with Dutch Sheet's network when he led a prayer network nationally. Meeting and having absolutely wonderful gifted friends, and leaders across the Nation and nations was a joy.
Our connection to Glory of Zion and Apostle Prophet Chuck Pierce since the late 90's, has been the foundation from which we moved as pioneers in the region. FJO helped to bring a new understanding of 5 fold and prophetic functioning and the importance of walking fully in our gifting, and moving powerfully in intercession, declaration, unity and deliverance (spiritual warfare). Barriers were broken as the team forged ahead. Prophetic moving was not a very welcome thing in most N.E. churches back then. Many now welcome Holy Spirit gifts. A great change indeed!
Looking back, it didn't feel as though our tribe was effective in changing minds and training the army, or accomplishing as much as we desired, because we were NOT a mega church, nor did we have a lot of money - God always provided enough to accomplish his movement through us however. We now realize how God was indeed moving through us; how gracious He was to bring many powerful leaders from around the nation, and globally to minister to and with us. Hindsight reveals that we were indeed, a catalyst for moving our region forward into Kingdom movement. Our labors, sacrifices and persecutions were minor distractions and worth the cost!
